Elevators riff, RnB tinged. Always mused how this whitey Texan label reached across Color Line with such ease. Seems that Abnak was Jetstar distributed, their Bobby 'Mustang' Patterson even credited as composer here

gave me someone to love' , ms Ivy surely is the more rockin' of the two. Maybe outdated by 66, kinda 63 Eel Pie Island RnB? Still Paul Jones does hellofajob, bringing over Leiber/Stoller's funny coastal lyrics as well

Shadows' "We say yeah" from Cliff's 'Young ones' 61 film. Done with frog Elvis drone

intro&outro, we are left with prime cut Texas garagey psych.
- Baby Ray: "The house on soul hill" (US Imperial -67) Was trying
to sneak this in among dem' soulies 45s, when Son correctly pointed out artist as snowy white. Always a mod fave, one could score his LP for peanuts until recently in Norw. budget bins
- Terry Knight & Pack: "The train" (US Lucky Eleven -67) the Joe
Tex' topside was loathsome, but these rolling stock made our day

Mojos' 64 song, done somewhat RnB-deeper and not a hundred miles away from 'Pin Up' Bowie in 73.
